Horty Hints
Taxononmic transformation. While technically categorised as Dracaena masoniana, this plant more closely resembles the Sansevieria species in numerous aspects. To emphasise its botanical affinities we call it Sansevieria masoniana.
Ensure your Dragon Snake Plant has adequate drainage to allow any excess water to drain to avoid its roots becoming waterlogged and risking root rot.
Happy families! You can propagate your Sansevieria by gently removing any “pups” (smaller self-contained leaves), cutting directly below the root and placing them into a separate grow pot.
Light
Sansevieria does best in moderate to bright, indirect light, but can also adapt to low light conditions if preferred.

Allow the soil to dry out completely before watering. Water thoroughly and allow to drain freely. Do not allow the plant to sit in water as this will cause root rot.
Temperature
The Dragon snake plant is happy in places with temperatures between 15°C and 23°C and can tolerate temperatures as low as 10°C for short periods.
Humidity
This Snake Plant will do fine in normal household humidity. Avoid humid locations but if brown tips develop, consider occasional misting.
